We are independent social workers with a personal mission: to protect children,
empower professionals, and transform lives. Founded by professionals with frontline
and lived experience, Providence believes every child deserves to be heard,
protected, and given the best possible chance to thrive.
Providence was founded by social workers with decades of combined frontline and
strategic experience. We've walked in the shoes of practitioners, advocates, mentors —
and sometimes, children in care. We know what makes a report accurate, fair, and usable,
and that’s why we’re trusted by courts, local authorities, and legal teams across the
country.
Our approach aligns fully with the Children Act 1989 & 2004, Care Act 2014, GDPR 2018,
Working Together 2023, and Social Work England’s Professional Standards.
